BYU Goes to Vegas in 2008, but Mormons Don’t Gamble!
Since most supporters of the BYU Football team are prominently members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and don’t gamble, what exactly is there in Las Vegas for the Mormons to do?
Here’s my top five list of passtimes that church members can do:
5. There’s an LDS temple in Las Vegas (really far from the strip) so take advantage of a visit there.
4. No sales tax in Vegas so get those Christmas presents bought!
3. If you bring $20, you can get a picture with a great Elvis actor.
2. The food is cheap, so bring the entire family to the all-you-can-eat buffets! It’s better than Chuck-O-Rama!
1. Walking around and staring at all the things you wish you could do if you didn’t believe in Jesus Christ.
