To Be A Doctor Or A Physician Assistant

“Doctor” is a popular response when kids are asked what they want to be when they grow up, right along with lawyer, teacher, and astronaut. However, only a select few individuals ultimately choose to become physicians, due in part to the grueling and seemingly unending amount of education and training required for the position. Though doctors are thought to make a lot of money, a physicians assistant salary isn’t too shabby, either. This is a quicker alternative to becoming a doctor, and you still get to help people through the treatment and prevention of illness. To become a physician assistant only requires a college degree plus approximately two years of specific medical training.
