Being the Teacher
In life one never knows what will come about. My whole life I thought that I was going to want to be a nurse. I was in high school and since I was good in Spanish my Spanish teacher asked me if I could help tutor some of the younger kids in Spanish. I was happy to help and I was surprised at how much I liked teaching. I had already decided on my college and things where on their way for nursing school, so I began to start my nursing school. Throughout all of the first year of nursing school I could not stop thinking about how much I loved teaching. I really was not liking my nursing classes, so I decided to see if I could get information on how to become a teacher from my college counselor. She told me that since I was only taking a few nursing classes I could just change my major to teaching. I decided to do just that and I got my masters in teaching. I just graduated and I was already offered a job. I am so excited to start my new job. I never thought that I was going to want to be a Spanish teacher, but my experience shows that you never know what will happen in life.
