Movies have become all about the special effects. At least that’s what the movie industry must think since that’s really the only thing they’ve been pushing out. They’ll completely abandon the plot and storyline of a movie to concentrate on the special effects. This makes for certain good scenes but overall for a bad movie that could actually put people to sleep. That’s not what people are paying money for when they go to the movies, rent, or buy that movie title. Why not ignore the current mediocre films and go back to the good old times where the movies were about more than that totally cool looking explosion and not much else going for it?
