God and Happiness
I have no idea who said this (or how many thousands of people said it), but I find this to be both humorous and insightful: "As Long As There Are Tests, There Will Be Prayer In Public Schools." That is because people rely on God for guidance, for hope, for the certainty that there is more than just a short passage on this planet before being vaporized. I don’t generally preach from this podium, but belief in God is, not surprisingly, a major factor in overall happiness. It really does not matter to a person’s happiness how you and God choose to relate to each other, what you call God, whether you worship through a public gathering or whether you worship through a private conversation while lying in bed at night. So feel free to pray anywhere you wish, even if your teacher doesn’t think it will help your grades.
