I had been trying to meet a girl since I moved to the city and had not had much luck. I was hampered in my search by having to work for a living and not wanting to hang out where people my age went every night. One day I was reading about online dating services and thought it was something that might bear checking into. I decided to try emo personals and within a week had two contacts to follow up on. My life was starting to turn around and it might just be that I would learn to like living in the city.
