Why I Got Individual Health Insurance?
A few years ago, I left my employer in order to start a business. One of the most important things I had to do is to figure out how to get self employed medical insurance. I could go with COBRA, but it doesn’t last forever. I also found it to be quite expensive. I decided to apply for individual health insurance, and the cost was a lot cheaper than COBRA. Many of the quotes I had were far cheaper. And in some cases, the coverage I got was a lot better with the individual health insurance policy. I decided to go with an individual policy.
