The day Alberto Alessi took over
Alberto Alessi took over the management of Alessi and launched the company in to the design decade employing different ideas and people along the way. Alberto Alessi collaborated with many different designers and architects suct as Richard Sapper, Alessandro Mendini, Phillippe Starck and Michael Graves. 2004 saw a new launch of Tea and Coffee Towers with a newer generation of designers and architects. However Alessi are still to this day famous for the designs that were produced by Michael Graves, the electric and the hob kettle being the most famous from the range and the Philippe Starck Juicy Salif, again still on of the best sellers in 2008.
