If you’re a beginning knitter, some good resources for knitting for beginners are available in your local community. Your local library has many many resources available to you, including many books for the beginning knitter. Your community, no doubt also has knitting groups that get together periodically to share patterns and stories about their current knitting projects. This is a great way to become involved in the knitting craft. And for whatever reason, knitters tend to be a very friendly group that easily exchange ideas and are always willing to help out someone who is interested in learning. Check with your local community college or Chamber of Commerce for a knitting group in your community. Then contact the person in charge injection of the meeting. You will no doubt be met with open arms, as newcomers are almost always helped along every step of the way.
