Make a special table with sterling steel flatware
I find that when you set a table for a special occasion, whether or not it is a holiday, you should make the table look special. Use chargers under your dinner plates and special serving bowls. Place mats and napkins are a really nice touch. Maybe you need flowers in the center or a nice center piece. What really helps set the table off, though, is a nice set of sterling steel flatware. The silverware really helps the table shine. If you have a nice set of flatware to use for special occasions, then your table will always be special.
