Learn To Be A Fine Neighbor
If you love to travel and have money to invest, there are many places around the world that have property for sale. If you are thinking about building a vacation home or some other type of property development, learn all that you can about the local culture before you proceed.
The first step that I would recommend, is that you visit the local library or a comparable site on-line, and learn all you can about the culture(s) and people living in the geographic area of interest. Only then should you begin looking for companies with overseas property agents to help you go further along the process.
Remember, the people you hire are going to represent you to the local communities. How they do business within particular cultures is something that will reflect upon you directly. Find agents that know at least as much about specific areas as you have learned. Check out some of their other dealings etc…
