Can You Put a Wooden Wardrobe Next to a Fireplace?
I need a lot more storage space in my bedroom, and my husband and I both love the look of wood. Therefore, I have been doing a bit of research on fitted wardrobes and other bedroom furniture. Since the wardrobes are obviously made of wood, I didn’t know if this would be a concern since they would be right next to a gas fireplace? I have seen what the fireplace has done to our Christmas trees and I was wondering if it would also destroy the wood of the wardrobe. Is there something we could put on it to protect it from damage?
