Is It Covered
I recently switched insurance carriers and I am having a hard time differentiating between what is covered and what is not. What category does gastric bypass insurance coverage file under? I do not think it is a medical necessity at this point and I do not know if the company would ever consider it to be. Would they make me try to lose the weight on my own or would they help me for my long term goals of being healthy? I do not think it would be considered plastic surgery, and for that it would not be covered. How does weight loss fall into insurance coverage?
