How To Build Muscle Using Proper Muscle Building Workouts
Muscle training requires lots of hard-work in addition to proper diet and adequate rest. If you are unsure about how to build muscle, then here are some suggestions –
High intensity weight training should be done for an hour, at least 3 times/week, with 2days rest between subsequent workouts to facilitate muscular repair and growth. You should do 3sets of 8reps each using controlled movements in order to avoid injury. Instead of isolation exercises, go for compound movements such as bench-press (chest), squats (leg) or dead-lifts (back), since they strengthen the target muscles plus the supporting muscles. Switch to split training by focusing on just one major muscle-group on 1day and allow it to rest throughout the whole week, while you shift your focus to workout other muscle-groups. Gradually increase the intensity of your workouts through progressive overload either by using heavier weights, or by doing more number of repetitions.
