The heart rate increases, there is an increase in the rate of breathing. We begin to sweat and the blood sugar levels in the body rise. Of ewe are living in a constant state of stress then there can be far reaching consequences on the body. We can be suffering from diabetes or high blood pressure. During stress the body switches off certain essential body functions. Highly stressed people get ulcers, have troublwe getting pregnant and in extreme case have stunted growth. The behavioral effects of stress are the increased intake of alcohol or heavy smoking to get rid of the effects of stress. These are the basic Effects Of Stress. Ignoring them can be fatal.
