Facts About Smoking: When nicotine gets built up in your body, it can cling to virtually every part of your system, as it enters the bloodstream and blood reaches every cell of your body.  This nicotine then also reaches all these parts of your body as well.

Water is probably the only other substance that reaches these parts too.  When there is fresh water delivered to these cells, they can use that water to get rid of those toxic substances, including nicotine.

Not drinking enough water is a mistake that most people make, and non-smokers are no exception.  However, when you are not hydrated enough, that nicotine will stay in your system for much longer than it needs to, again, keeping you addicted to that terrible poison.
