What is the Deal With the Health Care Reform?

Monday, September 7th, 2009

I have been reading a lot about the health care reform plan that is coming along this new presidency.  I used to think that it was a good idea.  But now I am not as much in it’s favor.  The problem is that I don’t know what I can do about it.  I think that most people aren’t really aware as to what is all included in this new reform.  I do agree that we need reform in this area, but not at the expense of my tax dollars going to abortions.  Educated is the biggest concern in this area.  And I don’t think that is where the money is going.

Earn an Associate Degree or Certificate Through Medical Transcription Course

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Medical transcription is a fast growing profession whose growth shows no sign of slowing down.  As our population continues to age, the demand for people working in the medical profession will also grow.  At this time, there is a 93% placement rate for trained medical transcriptionists with an average wage of $14.00 an hour.  Notice the emphasis on trained.  Employers prefer to hire transcriptionists who have a certificate or associate degree which can be earned by attending a traditional school or by taking classes online.  An associate degree takes two years to earn while a certificate program only requires one year to complete.  In addition to working as a transcriptionist, there are positions available for supervisors and instructors as well for students who successfully complete a medical transcription course.  Become a part of this growing work force by enrolling in a class today.

Why Is A Tutor Essential For Every Student?

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

We are living in a competitive world where ‘survival of the fittest’ is the one that runs in everyone’s mind. Education has gone beyond leaps and of late, many students have become smart enough to get a very strong foothold in his area of interest. Now let’s see why a tutor is essential for every student. First of all, individual attention is given to the student when he gets a private tutor. This ensures that the chances of his gaining excellence in the subject are ripe and plenty. The education a student gets in schools is very limited and there is no much scope for improvement or learning difficult things with that alone. One has to do put in that extra effort to do something extraordinary. A tutor facilitates this progress and brightens the student’s potential. Hence it is advisable for all aspiring students to get a private tutor.

How To Find Someone’s Cell Phone Number

Monday, August 10th, 2009

Did you know you can find not only someone’s cell phone number, but other information about them as well? With time and research, you should be able to find a cell phone directory search at a reasonable cost. Most offer an annual fee for their services.  Make sure there is a customer service number or live chat you have easy access to in case you need help. There should be a way you can try it out on a trial basis to discern if it is worth your money.   Of course, there is no guarantee of the accuracy. People change their numbers and addresses all the time. Even phone directories can be out of date or inaccurate soon after publication. But online services for personal use are usually up to date.

LPN to RN Programs

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

While the profession of a Licensed Practitioner Nurse may be exciting, it never appeals to nurses who are working on this side of the nursing domain for a long period of time. For all such nurses who seem to get tired with the role of a Licensed Practitioner Nurse and wish to make a move to the role of a Registered Nurse, LPN To RN Programs come as a big help. These programs help a lot of Licensed Practitioner Nurses over their apprehensions on the role of a Registered Nurse. Kindly note that more than this program being a stepping stone for nurses, it acts as a wonderful basic for advanced skills.

Making Sure My Dog Is Well Behaved

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

I want to make sure that my dog is well behaved. Right now it isn’t really trained to the leash, and always tries to run off. I am hoping that I can find some information on Havanese dog training that I can use to teach myself how to train the dog the way it should be trained. I want both the dog and I to be happy, and that will only happen if the dog learns to behave so I don’t have to punish him. I love the little dog already, so I find it hard to yell at him and correct him.

Doing My Best to Learn and Master Drums

Friday, July 24th, 2009

My parents are really big into music, so they told my sisters and I we all had to learn how to play a musical instrument. Luckily we got to choose which one we wanted to learn. I chose the drums, so now I am trying to learn and master drums. My sisters decided they wanted something small and easy to carry around, so one is leaning flute and the other is learning clarinet. I am not sure which of us has the easier instrument to learn, though I think so far mine music sounds better than theirs does, but we are just getting started.

I Would Choose My Office Over A County Office For A Public Records Search Any Day

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

There have only been a few times in my life when it was necessary for me to do a public records search and each time but the last it was the same experience.  There were rows and rows of files saved on microfiche and no one there to help me figure out where to look first.  Then when I finally found the card where my record should be I had to figure out how to work the fiche reader.  My last search was different. I went to http://public-records-search.org/State-of-California-Records-criminal,-death,-birth,-marriage.html instead of the court house.  From the comfort of my office I was able to find the exact record that I wanted and print it at home.

I Love German Wine and Food – A Nahe Riesling Spatlese

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Let’s start by quoting the marketing materials. Peachy keen! This delicious Riesling Spätlese from the Nahe region exhibits aromas of peach, paraffin and floral notes. It’s round with luscious fruit flavours, a seam of balancing acidity and great length. Enjoy with apricot stuffed pork loin. My first pairing was with a somewhat spicy mozzarella and cottage cheese lasagna made with whole-wheat noodles, roasted vegetables, but no meat. cheese types The wine was slightly sweet, but that was OK – a lot more than OK. Its acidity went well with the tomatoes. The Riesling was delicate but strong. Dessert was a high quality, very rich chocolate mousse cake, which made the wine lemony and acidic. The combination was excellent.
