It’s a Crazy Day
The day after Thanksgiving is absolutely crazy. It kicks off the Christmas season and is the biggest shopping day of the year. More money is plopped down on that day than any other day. People line up outside their favorite retail shops at absolutely ridiculous hours to buy the latest gadget at give away prices. As soon as the neon open signs flicker on, the stampeded begins and you had better get out of the way. It’s like a contact sport. I’m surprised people don’t train for it. Actually, maybe they do. I really don’t know. Either way, I’ve rarely found it worth risking my neck over. I’d rather sleep in.
