Cost Effective Transportation on Two Wheels

If you’re like millions of other drivers out there who are trying to save money during this apparent gas crisis, then consider cost effective transportation on two wheels. That’s right; get yourself a motorcycle…or a bicycle…or a moped.  Any of those will cost you less in gas as well as the price it would cost to purchase one.  While these modes of transportation get the job done, there are some drawbacks that you will need to consider before venturing out to go for a test drive.  First of all, you need to know the rules for owning something like a motorcycle.  First thing’s first- while you don’t need proof of a motorcycle license to purchase one, you WILL need a motorcycle license to actually be able to drive one.  So, go ahead and buy that motorcycle you’ve always been dying to get, but just know that you won’t be able to drive it off the lot if you don’t have a license.  Additionally, cars can protect you from all sorts of inclement weather such as rain, sleet, snow, high winds and sun.  A motorcycle does not protect you from any of these things.  There is also more storage available in a car versus a motorcycle.  These are just SOME of the things you should consider and think about.
