To Photogrtaph Hot Air Balloons
Every year around late May there is a hot air balloon event in Helen, Georgia. It is the Helen to the Atlantic race and is quite a spectacular event to see and photograph. I arrived in Helen very early on the morning that the balloons were scheduled to lift off. I did not want to miss the opportunity to photograph these behemoths of the sky. What a sight! And I was amazed at how fast they were filled with hot art and then set aloft. I was running from one location to another shooting one balloon and then another. I have two photographs in my portfolio from that day. I hope to go back again and capture some more.
