Northwest Iowa caused Iowa to gamble
I don’t ever want to see the northwest Iowa tourism to change. That is one area of the state with a great heritage and I think it should be maintained. There is some valuable history from that region that needs to be told to all future generations. If the proper lessons had been learned by what happened up there we actually wouldn’t have gambling in this state. After all gambling was introduced to Iowa by the Indians and if they had been treated properly they would not have been put on reservations and would not have been given the special rights that allowed them to open casions.
