Hard-Sided Luggage Is Much More Durable

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

I’ve decided to invest in some new luggage, because I’m planning to do a lot of travelling over the next few years.  Before I bought anything, I did a little research.  I wanted to know what kinds of luggage are out there, as well as learn about the pros and cons of each type.  After doing some reading and talking to some friends who are avid travellers, I determined that hard-side luggage is probably the best option for me.  I want to purchase something that I can use for years to come, and I think it will have the durability that I’m looking for.

A Page From My Life

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Not long ago I was visiting my extremely outdoorsy sister, who hates computers, and was amazed to find her typing feverishly on her desktop.

The sun was shining, there were horses to be ridden, and the garden was in full bloom. But I could barely get her attention.

I cleared my throat and she looked up from her work, finally realizing I was there. I asked what she was doing.

She explained that she’d created her first “lens” and was having a ball. “Your what?”, I asked

“I’ve created a free web page all about my animals. This page is going to be great!”, she giggled.

“We’ll see,” I thought. But I went home and pulled up Squidoo.com, started typing… and didn’t get up from my laptop for 4 hours.

Do You Know About The Beacon Credit Scoring System?

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

There are many important numbers that people today use and require. One such number is your credit score. A particular variation of a credit score is the Beacon Credit Score. Banks use the beacon credit scoring system to calculate the loan amount to be offered and the rate of interest at which it is to be given. The system uses the financial history of the customer (jobs, debts and records) to compute the score. The score lies between 300 and 850, where as the score increases, so does the possibility of securing a loan that can satisfy your needs. A higher score means you are more reliable regarding your payments.

How can I raise my credit score?

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Your credit score is determined by five factors: payment history, credit utilization, credit history, type of credit and credit inquiries.  Payment history makes up the largest part of your credit score, so making sure you’re making your payments on time is the most effective way to gain a higher overall credit score.  You can also see an increase in your credit score by using your credit effectively.  Use your credit cards, but never max them out.  Don’t keep a balance larger than 30% of your limit on any card, as that will cause your scores to drop.  If you have an older account that you don’t use very often, don’t close it just because it’s inactive.  Keeping your aged accounts will help your “old credit to new credit” ratio, and that can also significantly affect your credit score.  A clean credit report will give you the best opportunity to fix your credit score and improve your credit altogether.

There is one thing that I do on a constant basis in order to give shape and direction to my life and that is my use of positive thinking. I have taken the time to determine exactly what is is that I want in terms of outcomes in my life and then I make sure I use the power of positive thinking to keep me focussed on my key objectives. It is the quality of our thoughts and our attitude that really will determine the future of our lives. If you are looking to improve your life and circumstances then it is strongly suggested that you use positive thinking to propel you forward.

Shopping That’s Hard For Me

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Call me crazy, but I have the hardest time shopping for little girls clothing. It may be the fact that I have a son, but when I have to shop for baby girl clothes I can never seem to find something I really like. Recently I had to get my friend a baby outfit for her baby girl. She didn’t get to many newborn clothes so I thought I would get her something small. I set out in search of baby girl clothes 0-6 months. I think I must have spent at least half an hour in the area with baby clothes just trying to pick out a cute outfit she would like. Why is it so hard for me to shop for baby girl clothes? I guess I may never know, unless I have a girl of my own. The it may get easier for me.

You can get started in the Short Sale Business Today with no cash, no credit and no previous experience. Also, there are no licenses needed like there is with a traditional mortgage business. This allows you to get started immediately because you don’t have to prepare for a test or anything like that. You can start making money now and continue learning along the way.
